The Need For Speeds Cricket Team
Firecom Safety Systems Ltd are happy to sponsor and support: Needs for Speeds
The team competes in the Last Man Stands (LMS) Nottingham league, which is part of the world's largest amateur T20 cricket league. LMS is an innovative 8-a-side T20 format that lasts approximately 2 hours.
Unique Format Features:
• 8 players per side instead of the traditional 11
• 20 overs with 5 balls per over (instead of 6)
• Pink ball is used
• When 7 wickets fall, the "last man stands" alone and can only score in even numbers
• Batsmen must retire at 50 runs but can return if other wickets fall
• Bowlers can only bowl 4 overs maximum
